Empire held its Trunk or Treat on Friday night. Dozens of community members decorated their cars and themselves and handed out treats. The Empire United Methodist Church members served hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, snacks and hot chocolate. The event is sponsored each year by the Empire Area Community Center.
