New mountain manager at Homestead

Mark Lentini, the newlyhired mountain manager at The Homestead, is hopeful this winter will be cold and snowy.

“They say you can tell from the number of acorns how the winter will be, so I’m hoping that all the acorns I’ve seen will translate into a good winter,” he says with a laugh.

Lentini has worked at the Glen Arbor ski resort in a consulting capacity for a number of years. By coming onboard fulltime he will be able to more closely monitor the conditions and equipment, and address any issues before they become problematic.
