G-A Twp. talks security cameras, lighting

The Glen Arbor Township board covered a wide range of topics during their November meeting from shared cemetery costs with Empire, an update on new security cameras, to public use of the township hall gym.

Near the start of the meeting, Lieutenant Chad Dykgraaf filled in for Chief Bryan Ferguson with the report from the Fire Department. He noted that the department had 49 calls during October, participated in the Glen Lake High School Fall Festival, and Veterans day ceremonies.

Township Board members also got an update from the Lieutenant on Chief Ferguson who was seriously injured earlier this month in a car accident. β€œIt’s been a long road for him, but he is still scheduled to come home (Wednesday) and is expected to make a full recovery and his wife as well,” said Lieutenant Dygraaf.
