To the editor:
The Homestead originally wanted subsurface septic facilities, to deal with their residual sewage. Two problems with that ! First: they were to be located subsurface under SBDNL lands, just north of actual Homestead property.
Second: if it could ever be demonstrated that the sewage fluids/residuals would eventually flow into Lake Michigan [a very terrible NO, NO] then no further sewage disposal permits would ever be necessary.
