With Village Council President Dan Davis absent from the November’s regular meeting, Village Council member Maggie Bacon took up the gavel. True to form, she guided the council through a brisk and tidy session.
“I love it when it goes like this,” Bacon said with a grin, halfway through what shaped up to be one of the council’s shorter meetings of the year.
Bacon made a quick note near the start of the meeting that the Michigan DNR had acknowledged that they received the village’s request for a no-wake designation on South Bar Lake.
