Leland coach Karen Kirt along with staff, community, and parent volunteers offer skiing guidance and instruction to any student who desires to ski for elementary through seniors on Tuesdays in January and February 2026.
ASEA Central Education Foundation (ASEA-CEF), a nonprofit corporation in the State of Michigan, Leland Public School, and Salomon, the Leland Gliders Ski Club has received equipment that will be loaned to your child for the winter season.
Ski fitting will happen at school beginning Monday, December 15th. Rentals: $30/season if you use equipment issued by Coach Kirt. If the Leland Glider program does not have equipment for you, Classic ski rental is provided by SB Bikes in Suttons Bay. They are reasonable and allow equipment use for multiple weeks.
