‘Blight on skyline’

To the editor:

Once again the “Tower Power Twosome” of Township Supervisor Barb Conley and her Leelanau Planning Commission member husband Jerry Schatz have their eyes on yet another unnecessary blight on Leelanau’s skyline — this time at the top of our beloved and historic Braman Hill.

While reporting by the Enterprise indicates Verizon “needs” this tower, it remains unexplained why ATT is able to already provide coverage similar to what the proposed tower promises using the existing fire house tower.
