Cedar native Renae Ihme built a real estate career through her love for the area and her hard work.
“I think everybody had a dream to be here, but I notice it more with their kids,” Ihme said. “They have such an excitement for Leelanau County, in this beautiful area and it’s neat to see that they love it as much as I do.”
Growing up in Cedar, Ihme attended Glen Lake Community School. While in high school, Ihme started working at Harris Properties as a housekeeper, working her way up and earning a spot at the front desk. After high school she attended Northwestern Michigan College where she got her associate’s degree in business.
