8:04 a.m. — Bingham Township — Silver SUV driving very slow. Caller advised that he tried to run someone off the road when they passed him.

12:16 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Two cows, two donkeys in someone’s yard.

8:06 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — When caller leaves to go to her parents’ house, her brother follows her. (Advised that her problem is civil in nature and should be addressed in civil court.

Wednesday, Nov. 26

8:06 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s dog bit animal control officer while taking it into custody.

11:40 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle unusually parked in power transmission right-of-way. White and blue Ford SUV.

5:51 p.m. — Leelanau Township— Carbon monoxide detector. Three adults and a baby. No symptoms. Multiple positive CO readings Utilities have been shut off. Homeowners making arrangements for alternative housing.

6:43 p.m. — Elmwood Township— Black Jeep and car in the ditch. Let Road Commission known a white reflective sign on the south side of the road is lost.

Thursday, Nov. 27

1:15 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Hyudani stopped. Sobriety tests administered. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

6:02 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Car into the front yard. Ford Bronco. Didn’t roll over.

1:03 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller last spoke with subject two weeks ago. No one at the address. (Law enforcement spoke with family who said the subject is driving from downstate and they don’t have any concerns.)

2:42 p.m. — Empire Township — Grease fire from turkey in the backyard.

Friday, Nov. 28

6:46 a.m. — Kasson Township — Single, black Nissan Murano into the trees. No injuries. Road Commission en route to assist with a down tree involved in the accident.

12:52 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller hit a family member’s car in the driveway last night. Believe there’s more than $1,000 damage. Would like a report number, GMC Terrain.

5:25 p.m. — Solon Township — One-car rollover. Black truck, Both people out of the vehicle.

Saturday, Nov. 29

9:30 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Mid-size, white fluffy dog. Possibly on a leash. Running down the road and then ran into the woods. (Dog returned to owner.)

2:12 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is trying to purchase a snow blower on Facebook Marketplace. Paid for part of it, but caller doesn’t think people are going to give him the snow blower and needs advice on what to do.

3:25 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Motor vehicle rollover. Black Ford Ranger rolled over. Unsure if anyone is injured. (Road Commission contacted about the icy conditions and they were going to try an get someone headed that way.)

7:42 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports a pit bull-mix dog left outside. It has no food or water. Howls day and night. Caller would like to speak with a deputy.

Sunday, Nov. 30

8:35 a.m. — Solon Township— Horse loose and it is at the end of the caller’s driveway. (Owner was contacted and is sending his son over to grab it.)

Monday, Dec. 1

8:20 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller drove by a garbage truck stopped in the road. Man lying in the road, said he fell on the ice. He was talking and moving.

9:11 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller slid off road. No one hurt. Vehicle is damaged. Hit telephone pole. White Dodge Ram truck.

7:04 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller tried to rent a cottage in Grawn on Facebook Marketplace and then it switched to Zillow to go through an application and pay $2,000 for two months. Caller never spoke with anyone verbally. Money was sent through cash App on Thursday. Caller went to the location today and they didn’t have an apartment for her.

7:22 p.m. — Solon Township — Truck rolled upside down and no one is coming out. Single occupant can’t get out of the vehicle but the occupant is on the phone with someone inside the vehicle. Occupant out.

8:54 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone tried to break into caller’s back door. He had gotten home and the lock on the back of the door had screws coming out. Wasn’t able to gain entry then. Caller also has tracks around his vehicle where they were trying to steal gas from his car and then broke the gas cap. Tracks are still there. Dark color Chevy or Ford looked to be watching the caller from the boat launch tonight.

10:43 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller slid through a stop sign and went in the ditch. Chrysler Pacifica, blue. Airbags went off and the caller has an injury to her nose. Vehicle hit power lines of some kind, possibly ground wires attached to Cherryland notified.
