To the editor:
Isn’t the Leelanau a great place to live and have a great newspaper to print all of our differingideas. Justlastweek JoAnne Brown’s cogent letter on Healthcare raises serious questions about how we pay for Healthcare. Makes me think if we add up all the costs of Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Private Insurance, Special Hospital payments for Kidney and Liver disease and a zillion other special payments for Healthcare by the government and we could pay for National Healthcare for everyone!
Then Rob Franzo gives us a lesson on the First Amendment that should make us all think. Next up was Jeff Kessler who had the guts to say what we all have been thinking! Did I really vote for the right guy (Trump or Biden) and can I change directions? Way to go Jeff. Then a very personal recommendation for Mr. VanSteenhouse by Jim Grogan. These are things we need to know. Next Jonathon Lanphier on the local affordable housing issues. Good job Jonathon, that was enlightening. I could go on about the whole delightful issue of the Enterprise but am reminded of the 250-word limit.
