With 13 skiers, the Glen Lake co-op ski team is ready to attack the slopes at home hill Crystal Mountain and beyond. The Lakers are entering into the second year of having Benzie Central and Frankfort athletes on their roster and apart of the Glen Lake-based co-op.
“The co-op gives all kids more opportunity because we would be really crunching numbers on both teams,” Glen Lake coach John Kasben said. “13 kids this year and splitting those would have us struggling to field a full team makes it so kids can still race during the season.”
Seniors Lili Lezeaux, Moraya Mosher, and sophomore Amorie Mosher joined the co-op team from Benzie, while seniors Miles Luther, Benjamin Stoops and junior Lillian Wolfe joined from Frankfort.
