Lake Leelanau St. Mary boys basketball (3-0) pulled away halfway through the third quarter to win its third game to start the season, 40-26, over Grand Traverse Academy (GTA) (2-1) Monday.
“We are figuring our game out and things are starting to click,” Lake Leelanau St. Mary senior Josh Bunek said. “We want to show that we are a team that can compete with anyone around here.”
The Eagles defense didn’t allow more than 10 points until late in the third quarter.
