Tuesday, Dec. 2

7:52 a.m. — Leland Township — Plow truck came by and was not paying attention. Caller had to swerve and went into the ditch.

3:21 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller received a tip regarding a dog living in a vehicle in front of a vacant house. For the past two weeks, the homeowner across the street observes someone bringing it food/water and then leaving. (Per animal control, all that’s required is to offer food and shelter. Animal control will follow up tomorrow.)

4:04 p.m. — Solon Township — Vehicle in the ditch. No injuries. Request for fire and traffic assistance. Need to close road on curves.

Wednesday, Dec. 3

8:02 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two vehicles slid into one another at the blinking light at M-204 and M-22.

8:43 a.m. — Bingham Township — Truck stuck in the northbound lane of M-22.

11:37 a.m. — Bingham Township — Three-car accident. No injuries. White Lexus was hit by a red Chevy which went on to do hit a white Equinox. No injuries.

1:59 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Caller reports cyber crime/phishing.

5:11 p.m. — Leland Township — Planning Commission meeting. Overcrowded.

Thursday, Dec. 4

12:28 p.m. — Leland Township

— Crew of volunteers in the church basement are smelling something.

5:12 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports someone came to look at a car that the insurance was supposed to look at and took off with it.

8:46 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller was sent a threat on Facebook.

Friday, Dec. 5

5:17 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is in a gold Yukon. Cannot tell what kind of vehicle is behind him but it sped up, got behind caller was tailgating and then flashing bright lights.

8:46 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone used caller’s business name and EIN to open an AT&T account. Needs a police report to pursue action.

9:03 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Assault and battery.

10:54 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Business is illegally taking over Darwin Road. Caller needs officer to come and collect evidence.(Nothing criminal per law enforcement. Caller called to report that earlier in the day a person was skiing along the road.)

1:24 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller states she was harassed by police yesterday and wants to file a complaint for them pulling her over.

1:34 p.m. — Kasson Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.

3:39 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two horses in pasture. Throwing down hay bales. They look thin. Caller is concerned they are not getting enough to eat.

4:34 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Individual has been harassing caller. Walking past her house and may have walked down her driveway. Caller would like to speak with law enforcement about her options.

5:43 p.m. — Solon Township — Older green Toyota pickup all over the road. Crossing both center and fog lines.

5:47 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller states drunk driver went north through the light on M-72. Red and orange… varying speeds and swerving.

6:40 p.m. — Bingham Township — Man walking on the side of the road in the dark.

8:17 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Caller left work in her vehicle. Had stopped at the intersection and notice a male and female had started crossing the street in front of where caller was turning. She braked and the male leaned over the hood of car and caller rolled the window down to talk to him and makes sure she didn’t hit them. Male responded sarcastically and said, “I don’t know, did you” and then kept walking want and giving irritated looks at the caller.

Saturday, Dec. 6

3:02 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Neighbors’ son is target shooting. Caller doesn’t have a problem with him target shooting. But wants him to let them know when he’ll be shooting.

9:38 p.m. — Centerville Township — GMC stopped. Sobriety tests given. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

10:23 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Credit card fraud.

Sunday, Dec. 7

9:02 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Group of hunters along Bohemian Road just south of M-22 that appear to be poised to hunt as if they’re waiting on animals to cross in front of them.

4:47 p.m. — Elmwood Township — There is an 18-wheeler on Co. Rd. 633, between Crain Hill and Lakeview Hills that lost its trailer. Trailer is not blocking the road, it is currently in the ditch. Caller just wanted law enforcement

to know.

10:21 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller arrived home and noticed her service door was unlock and door inside was unlocked as well. Caller knows it was locked when she left. Ring camera shows an SUV came into caller’s driveway and alarm system went off. Caller would like a deputy to come look at the ring footage.

11:30 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle went off the roadway. Single occupant. Head hurts a little bit. Female was distraught but alert. (Driver was able to dig snow away from her door and she is now sitting in the caller’s vehicle.)

Monday, Dec. 8

8:35 a.m. — Leland Township —Caller reports ex-spouse took $1,200 from her bank account.

11:06 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports plane that flies around her property and she thinks she is being targeted.

3:08 p.m. — Solon Township — There’s a bunch of garbage in the middle of the road that fell out of a truck in the westbound lanes of M-72 and middle of the road.

4:10 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller’s vehicle has “expired” where it was getting repairs. They are aware of it and caller will have it removed within the week.

6:33 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller was driving near the sharp corner on Schomberg near Lakeshore and one of the houses near the intersection had a large spot light on and shining into the field, across the road and into traffic. Caller thought it was unsafe for drivers.

7:51 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller owns the storage units and noticed this morning that multiple locks have been cut and others were attempted to be cut. She also advised that one section of the light is no longer working so those may have been messed with as well.

Tuesday, Dec. 9

1:20 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Silver VW reportedly doing donuts in the parking lot of the administration building.
