Leland Twp. community recreation plan discussed

Board to vote on rec plan in January

While no action was taken to approve the 2026-2030 Leland Township Community Recreation Plan (CRP) at the township board’s regular meeting on Monday, many of those in attendance spoke during public comment about their concerns for the plan, and specifically, the anticipated renovations at Hancock Field.

The final draft of the CRP was available for public viewing and comment for the period between Oct. 31 through Dec. 5, and the public hearing to review that draft was held during the township board’s regular meeting on Monday.
