Lake Leelanau St. Mary senior Timothy Duperon committed to run cross country at North Central Michigan College Sunday.
“I didn’t really think that was an option for me because I don’t have the fastest PR,” Duperon said. “When my high school coach had talked to the North Central Michigan coach and said I could go run up there, I was pretty surprised about it.”
Duperon finished his high school career with his best time, 21:07 at the regional meet this past season.
