The Leland boys basketball team traveled to Brethren for their first conference game of the year, leaving with a 52-39 win over the Bobcats Friday.
“Throughout this game we had great effort on defense,” coach Ryan Knudsen said. “Even though we did not convert all of them we were also able to create really good scoring opportunities on offense.”
The Comets earned an early 19-point lead after a fast offensive display.
