Leelanau County has two new deputies who were sworn in this week.
They are Tyler Porter of Suttons Bay and Evan Hartl of Traverse City.
The new deputies graduated from the Northwestern Michigan Police Academy last weekend and have passed the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards licensing exam.
