Thursday, Dec. 11

1:57 a.m. — Leland Township — Two vehicles have been parked facing north just south of caller with lights on for over an hour. Possibly on the side of the road but caller can’t tell. There were some people who were possibly trying to shovel but caller isn’t sure. (Law enforcement out with vehicles. Looks like one is stuck in the ditch. Driver hit an ice patch and got truck in the ditch. They will try one more thing before calling at tow truck.) Vehicle is out of the ditch, 7:51 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller tried to take his company van last night but got it stuck in the yard. Ongoing issues with delinquent activities.

10:25 a.m. — Empire Township —Someone is parked in caller’s driveway. (Contractor there for Consumer Power. They used caller’s driveway to access the powerlines. Not blocking his driveway. ) Law enforcement spoke with contractors and the work is expected to be completed in about 30 minutes.

1:21 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Black Cadillac ran through the stop light at the pedestrian crossing north of the roundabout. (Law enforcement out with the driver at his residence).

6:25 p.m. —Suttons Bay Township — Caller hit road debris. Truck sideways in road. SUV in the ditch.

10:48 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Criminal sexual conduct.

Friday, Dec. 12

1:36 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Caller and daughter both scammed out of money through a hacked friend’s Facebook account.

4:21 p.m. — Solon Township — Truck off the road in between two trees. Unknown if there are injuries. Significant front-end damage. Lakeshore closed while vehicle is removed.

5:47 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Male dressed in dark clothing walking on the side of the road near the intersection. Caller thought it was suspicious.

Saturday, Dec. 13

12:03 p.m. — Solon Township — Vehicle slid off the road. Volkswagen with a Christmas tree on top. No damage. Driver has already called for a tow.

Sunday, Dec. 14

10:30 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller was out walking on Traverse Lake Road and advised that about 80% of the mailboxes on the road have been knocked down by the snowplow. Resident believes that his mailbox was personally targeted and vandalized.

11:19 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is concerned about a dog that wanders the neighborhood near her parents’ house. She has caught the dog in the road a couple of times and is afraid he will get hit.

1:31 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller believes mailbox was personally targeted and vandalized. Not by the snowplow.

2:51 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Green, black and white snowmobile rode on private property where there is a “no trespassing” sign. Nothing damaged. Just wanted to get it on record in case anyone else called about it.

7:32 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports that her son was last seen in Suttons Bay on Nov. 28 getting on BATA. (Subject entered as missing person.)

Monday, Dec. 16

2:15 a.m. — Bingham Township — Family trouble.

1:58 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Road Commission says a car has been parked on the shoulder on Setterbo Road several times and is getting in the way of the plow.

2:55 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject demands to speak with Sheriff about recently getting pulled over.

3:13 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Ongoing problem with neighbors’ Australian Shepherd. Keeps coming into her yard.

4:44 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Someone has been loitering outside the building. Employees are scared to leave. (All employees have been escorted to their vehicles.)

5:54 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Caller was going to go to a meeting. There was no meeting or anyone there when he arrived. But the door is unlocked and he thought it was strange.
