Cemetery needs discussed in G-A

The Glen Arbor Township Board Tuesday focused on Maple Grove Cemetery, located just across the township line in Empire.

Within the cemetery there are two gravel roads that Empire Township would like to pave over in order to help prevent washout onto gravesites.

The issue arose last month when the board raised the question of whether the paving should be considered a capital improvement or fall under maintenance costs, of which Glen Arbor contributes 40%.
