2:08 a.m. — Bingham Township — Red Volvo stopped. Sobriety tests administered. One arrested for operating while intoxicated.

7:10 a.m. — Centerville Township — Vehicle off the road and into the trees. One in custody.

8:14 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Child abuse.

10:33 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Trespassing complaint.

4:12 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller reports large construction trucks constantly using the road where there are seasonal restrictions in place.

Thursday, Dec. 18

8:20 a.m. — Leland Township — Vehicle parked partially into the roadway where the buses go. Thinks it’s a road hazard.

10:42 a.m.— Suttons Bay Township — Threat received.

11:27 a.m. — Kasson Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.

11:41 a.m. — Empire Township — Operations manager found someone sleeping in a closet. Subject left willingly. Caller wanted a report on record in case it happens again.

3:19 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Domestic.

3:59 p.m. — Bingham Township — Two dogs came around caller’s deck. One may be bleeding. Have been on the street for about an hour. Medium-sized dogs. One brown and white with curly fur. Sticks in the fur. Second is grayishbrown. Had collars. No tags.

5:27 p.m. — Elmwood Township— Caller thinks his neighbor is acting “strange.” Caller said there is nothing criminal and no boundaries have been crossed. Caller was advised about trespass option. She just wanted the information noted on the record in case he acts strange in a way that feels threatening to her.

7:17 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Assisting with an incident of family trouble.

11:32 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Violation of a controlled substance. One in custody.

Friday, Dec. 19, 2025

3:23 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller learned from a neighbor earlier in the day that said there was some “funny business” going on at the house. Caller would like the house checked to make sure no one is currently there or had broken in because no one should be at the residence at this time. (Per law enforcement there were no signs of forced entry.)

12:47 p.m. — Solon Township — Family trouble.

12:47 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller is concerned that her son may have had an accident or may have had car trouble due to road conditions. (Caller called back and said that son called and said they were in the ditch.)

Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025

2:57 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Black Ford F-150 stopped for sobriety test. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

12:45 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Family trouble.

Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025

12:41 a.m. — Leland Township — Van parked outside running for three hours with dog inside. (Dog seems to be fine and in good spirits per law enforcement.)

8 p.m. — Leland Township — Owner of the house called. Said they see a gray BMW in the driveway and lights on in the house. Shouldn’t be anyone there.

12:10 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Domestic.
