The Northport Village Council unanimously approved new 2026 and 2027 marina rates at its regular meeting on Dec. 18.
Trustees first discussed adjusting marina rates for the 2026 season, among other topics, at the council’s Dec. 4 work session. The proposed rates include an increase in the seasonal rate from $100 per foot to “Rate 2” at $112 per foot for all 2026 seasonal slip assignments. Transient rates will be maintained at the same basic rate (Rate B) in 2026, but rates will be adjusted throughout the year based on demand outlined in a 2026 DNR rate schedule.
The resolution also establishes that the village council intends to adopt a further increase for seasonal slip rates in 2027 by moving from “Rate 2” of $112 per foot to “Rate 1” of $121 per foot. In 2027, transient slip rates will be maintained at the same basic rate (Rate B) as it was in 2026. According to the December village manager report, estimated revenue increase based on the proposed rate increase will be about $43,000 for seasonal and $6,000 for transient, per the harbormaster.
