The white stuff many have been clamoring for arrived over the weekend — in a big way.
Ten inches of snow was recorded Friday and Saturday in Maple City. More than eight inches falling over the next two days, bringing total snow for a week ending Monday to nearly 28 inches.
The National Weather Service provided plenty of warning of the “bomb cyclone” allowing residents time of stock up on provisions before hunkering down to ride out the first significant storm of the winter of 2023-24.
