In 2024, the most recently available stats for a year, there were 16 arrests recorded for operating while intoxicated in Leelanau County.
That year, Michigan had 8,542 alcohol-involved crashes, a slight decrease from the prior year, resulting in 307 alcohol-related fatalities, according to Michigan State Police.
