Leelanau County residents continued to contend with severe weather Monday as lake effect snow and gusty winds created hazardous travel conditions across the region.
Monday forecasters said the heaviest snowfall from the storm system had largely moved through the area, but lake effect snow remained ongoing throughout the afternoon and evening.
