Glenn VanOtteren, a summertime Northport resident, got the chance to see his Indiana Hoosiers compete in the College Football Playoff at the Rose Bowl New Year’s Day.
VanOtteren graduated from the University of Indiana in 1984 with an undergrad degree, before returning and gaining a medical degree in 1988.
“I’ve suffered through a lot of losing football games in my day. How could you not root for Indiana football over the last two years,” he said.
