With the new year arrived, it brings resolutions such as working out or eating healthier, which are usually broken within the first three months of the year.
“I would suggest staying sustainable, and I want to be satisfied at the end of my meals, but not over full,” dietitian Laura McCain said. “If you want better health for the new year, whether that means gaining weight, losing weight, you need to think sustainable first.”
McCain suggests finding a reputable website for recipes or plans for a diet, as some websites can guarantee something through medication or supplements. When a website recommends that, it’s buyer beware, as if it’s called a supplement and not a drug, then it’s not well regulated, which could end up causing harm.
