To the editor:
In the United States, we are blessed as our Constitution protects religious freedom. In many other countries around the world, these rights are not guaranteed or protected. We have the right to worship as we choose.
Within the Constitution, the Founding Fathers strongly desired to protect religious freedom. The First Amendment includes “The Establishment Clause” which prohibits the government from creating or endorsing a religion. We are free to worship how we wish or not to worship at all. The First Amendment also includes “The Free Exercise Clause” which protects the individuals’ rights to practice their religion freely.
