Leland girls basketball ran away from Lake Leelanau St. Mary Tuesday as three Comets scored in double figures to win 61-35.
“I was really happy with our start. We kept up our effort and intensity all game long. We have been working on some things in practice that I saw the girls implement in the game tonight,” Leland coach Megan Munoz said.
The Comets (3-2) didn’t allow more than 10 points until the third quarter.
