Lori with her beautiful smile and big heart died at home from complications of ALS with husband David holding her hand and dog Norman curled at her side.
Lori was born June 14, 1957 in Holland, Michigan to Henry and Lois Holstege. She was second of five children and grew up in the Greater Grand Rapids area. She graduated from Calvin College in 1979 and from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1983.
