To the editor:
There is much criticism about the iPhone, developed only 20 years ago. Educators and parents are very concerned about its influence on our society and the addiction of youth to social media, another more recent development.
Yet we just witnessed another powerful use of the iPhone and its camera/video in the ICE incident in Minneapolis. It seems everyone involved was recording the action in real time and, as a result, citizens are forming opinions about ICE and mobilizing to oppose its practices. We truly are witnessing a revolution in citizen awareness about our government and its effect on our daily lives.
