Over the holiday break, our family returned from visiting relatives to find our driveway buried after a snowstorm and a snowblower that wouldn’t start. As we shoveled, a truck with a plow passed by. We waved and, to our surprise, the driver stopped and backed up. He cleared our driveway and wouldn’t accept payment, saying he was already out helping others. He introduced himself as Rick Robbins, District 1 Commissioner—the same Rick Robbins who donated his Commission salary to Habitat for Humanity last year. Thank you, Rick, for your generosity and showing up for the community.
