Elmer Richard Kalchik, 90, of Northport, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024, at his daughter’s house in Suttons Bay, with his family by his side.
He was born on September 10, 1933, in Petoskey, Michigan, the son of Roy and Celia (Houdek) Kalchik. On September 6, 1958, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Lake Leelanau, he married Mildred “Millie” (Belanger) Kalchik, who preceded him in death on December 30, 2023.
