Glen Lake boys basketball earned a 73-49 win on the road against Benzie Central, which was the Lakers first game in 13 days due to weather cancellations.
“We haven’t played in 13 days, so we didn’t know what to expect,” Lakers coach Jason Bradford said. “The thing I love the best is the way they adjusted and responded; they went on a 12-point swing, came out in the second half and got after it.”
After some back-and-forth to start the game, the Glen Lake offense caught fire early, starting a 12-point run with senior Jacob Plamondon scoring 10 points in the quarter. Benzie responded with the next five points, but the Lakers were up 18-9 after the first.
