Jan Price - Care, faith, art in action

Jan Price has spent much of her life sitting with people in their most vulnerable moments. Next to hospital beds, in church pews, and across kitchen tables. A former critical care nurse, she now serves as the associate pastor at Glen Lake Church.

Price’s roots in Leelanau County run deep, since her family began vacationing in the Glen Lake area when she was just six weeks old.

“My parents used to vacation up here, and when I was six weeks old, my grandmother would put me in a buggy and walk me from basically the Glen Lake Yacht Club down to the bridge and back,” she said.
