Suspension concerning

To the editor:

Most county residents don’t follow internal government matters closely — and that’s understandable. But the recent suspension of the county’s finance director should concern anyone who cares about basic governance and continuity.

This isn’t about taking sides in a workplace dispute. It’s about whether proper process was followed before sidelining a mission-critical official responsible for paying bills, managing cash flow, and safeguarding public funds.
