Needs v. Wants

To the editor:

Was like listening to a broken record hearing Secretary of Treasurer, (former hedge fund manager) Scott Bessent utter: We need...We need...We need..., in reference to Greenland. Bessent mimicks the Mar-a-Lago Greed Mantra that the puppeteer himself cries of Venezuela oil, his drug of choice. Know now the charade of the “drug boats” killing. Enough already!

While troubled by Bessent’s we need mantra, my consciousness was speaking truth of need of people the world over. We need friends, allies, partners and trusting working relationships that share the value of striving for common goals. Minds of empathy know this.
