Glen Lake coaches honored at MHFCA

Glen Lake football coaches Jesse Smith and Ryan Nickerson were honored at the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association (MHFCA) earlier this month.

“It’s well deserved ... Nickerson is my right-hand man,” Smith said. “His work ethic is unmatched. I usually get a text at 2 a.m. with a detailed gameplan and energy.”

Smith, head coach, and Nickerson, defensive coordinator and assistant head coach, both received recognition at the gathering of high school coaches.
