Glen Lake sophomore Delanie Dembowske was no match in the paint, leading the Lakers with 16 points and six rebounds in a 42-23 win over the Leland girls basketball team Friday.
“Leland is going to give you 100%, and I was proud of our girls that we came to play,” Glen Lake coach Brad Fosmore said.
Leland played Glen Lake tough throughout the first half, only trailing 23-16, before the Lakers held the Comets to just seven points in the second half.
