Glen Lake remained in first place of the Lake Michigan Ski Conference as the boys team notched a perfect giant slalom score (10 points, first through fourth place) last Wednesday at Crystal Mountain.
If it wasn’t for a slight hiccup on the slalom hill, the Lakers had a shot to sweep the first four places of both events.
“It’s been a while since we scored (perfect) in either event, which is tough and doesn’t happen all of the time, especially against good competition in conference,” Glen Lake coach John Kasben said. “Both boys and girls have been skiing well.
