Pianos and music

Peters’ passion:

Mark Peters moved to the area in the fall of 2010 when he took a job at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Leland as the organist and found out he likes to tune the pianos as well.

“I was always fascinated when the piano tuner came over to tune my instrument,” Peters said. “It ended turning into a career when Jim Cox, he was my piano tuner, mentioned to me one time that he wanted to retire but couldn’t find anyone to replace him.”
