World Learning Club gives Leland students global perspective

For students at Leland Public School, the world is no longer just something they see through a screen.

Thanks to the school’s World Learning Club (WLC), local students are getting firsthand experiences with other cultures, collaborating on global projects, and exploring life beyond northern Michigan.

The club, now in its third year, grew out of an effort to restore and expand international opportunities after COVID disrupted past programs.
