Inland Seas Education Association will host a guided winter nature hike at the Leo Creek Preserve Tuesday, from 1 to 4 p.m.
This isn’t just a walk in the woods; ISEA will be teaching attendees how to identify trees without their leaves and lead a hands-on session to estimate the age of the massive white pine that fell during December storms.
Participants will also warm up with freshly brewed pine needle tea and using the iNaturalist app to document the biodiversity of wetlands.
