The Empire United Methodist Church will host a benefit pancake breakfast Saturday for the family of a Glen Lake student who suffered burns in a fire.
Emit Siedlaczek, a seventh grader at Glen Lake Community Schools, was involved in an accident at home, which left him with second and third degree burns over 30% of his body.
His family home was destroyed by a fire.
