As Marvin Gaye asked - what’s going on?

It took me a long time to figure out what to write and how to word things this week. There’s so much happening, so many questions, so much uncertainty. The only thing that does feel certain is that something is profoundly wrong, and real change is needed.

New York Times reporter Dan Barry recently wrote about the news out of Minneapolis saying “The images conveyed the unmistakable sense of consequences, of a watershed moment, prompting reflection about what the nation stands for, and where it is heading. Minneapolis seemed close, no matter where one lived.”
