Glen Lake’s Justin Thompson won by over four seconds in slalom with a time of 1:06.54, to go along with teammate Ben Stoops first-place finish in giant slalom (GS) (53.36) at the Clare Invitational Monday.
“Both Thompson and Stoops laid down really good runs. We had great conditions,” Glen Lake coach John Kasben said.
Glen Lake will next compete at regionals Monday at Crystal Mountain, starting at 9 a.m., to earn the right to race in the state championship later this month.
