SB makes half court shot in loss
Suttons Bay senior Urijah TwoCrow glides through the air and makes a contested shot in one of the best games of the year against Brethren Tuesday.

The Suttons Bay boys basketball team put together one of its strongest performances of the season Tuesday night, battling Brethren down to the final minutes before falling 72-69 in a close match-up.

The Norsemen entered halftime trailing by just two points, 35-33, and came out of the break with energy, opening the second half with a 3-pointer followed by a lay-up, setting the intensity early. Suttons Bay continued to play aggressively throughout the third quarter, moving the ball well with both teams skillfully creating scoring opportunities.

Midway through the quarter, the Norsemen’s defense sparked some momentum when Shane O’Boyle came in with a steal. A lay-up from Eathen Sams brought the score to 46-42, with Brethren narrowly ahead about five min- utes into the half. Later in the quarter, Urijah TwoCrow had a smooth lay-up before O’Boyle followed with a 3-pointer on the next possession.
