The Enterprise’s editorial urging readers to bring “half-full glasses” to public comments at Board meetings overlooks a basic responsibility: objective reporting.
When residents ask why a Finance Director was suspended, why computer access was revoked, or why responsibilities were reassigned without a clear public explanation or a workable Finance Department plan, that is not “underground drama.” It is scrutiny — especially when paychecks and taxpayer dollars are at stake.
