Hartesvelt remains on adm. leave

County commissioners are anticipating a special meeting prior to its executive committee Tuesday.

As of press time Wednesday, no notice had been posted for a special meeting. A minimum of 18 hours notice is required by the state Open Meetings Act.

The reported reason for the special meeting is to act on a severance package for Cathy Hartesvelt, county finance director, who has been on paid administrative leave since Jan. 9.
