Leelanau County agencies to receive over $254,000
The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians’ (GTB) announced the allocation of 2% gaming revenue funds to local units of government in the region totaling approximately $911,218 on Jan. 30. Of that total, about $254,744 will go towards organizations and agencies in Leelanau County.
Of the 78 applications received totaling $2,178,362 in requests, tribal council voted to award 57 applicants as part of the tribe’s 2% allocation process, which takes place twice a year. GTB will makes its decision regarding the first half of 2026 2% allocation in July.
