Eagles fall to Sabres; Comets fall to Lakers

Lake Leelanau St. Mary pushed the undefeated Traverse City Christian Sabres to the brink Tuesday in a 61-53 loss.

The Eagles have played six games in nearly 13 days.

“We are moving and churning in the right direction,” St. Mary coach Jim Bunek said. “We have to keep improving on offense, and it’s more about taking away those few little gaps. It feels like those gaps are smaller.”
